The kitchen truly is the heart of the home and this one: she has a soul.

That sweeping stone backsplash stops us every single time. The movement, the depth, the way it grounds the rich walnut cabinetry and warm earthy tones. It's the kind of detail that makes a kitchen feel like more than just a place to cook. It feels like a place to gather.

This Mother's Day, we're thinking about all the kitchens that have held so much: the slow Sunday mornings, the holiday chaos, the quiet cups of coffee before the house wakes up. A beautifully designed kitchen isn't just functional - it's where life actually happens.

To every mother who deserves a space as beautiful as the love she gives: Happy Mother's Day. 🫶🌼🪻

Not all wallpaper is created equal.

Wallpaper is often the first move: setting the tone before anything else lands in a room. This birchbark inspired print brings an organic, layered depth to the space, paired with a concrete sink, unlacquered brass, and a sculptural mirror that quietly anchors it all.

We'll never pass on a well-papered room.

Milan Design Week has been more than we imagined.

Every corner feels like a mood board: textures, light, color, and detail; all speaking at once.

Inspiration isn’t something you chase here: it finds you

Sometimes European makers understand what we are still catching up to.

Stone doesn’t stop at the countertop. It becomes the sink. It wraps the edge.
The corner radius isn’t an afterthought, it’s the entire decision.
Every curve is intentional.
Every material transition is thoughtfully considered.

This is what a kitchen looks like when the simplicity is the statement.

Taking notes.

Before we board, we pack perspective.

Off to Milan for Salone del Mobile 2026.

We’re not there for trends. We’re there for what endures: materials, makers, and ideas that bring warmth, depth, and the quiet details that make a home feel lived in.

Follow along.

1744. Marblehead Old Town. We had work to do.

This dining room had everything a cottage should: hardwood floors, French doors, nearly 300 years of character. It also had dark wood built-ins, a louvered closet door, and a brass floral chandelier that had overstayed its welcome.

Slide 4 is where the story starts to change. The tile, the fabrics, the hardware: every decision made together before a single cabinet was ordered. That’s what full-service looks like in the middle.

Rift cut white oak cabinetry. A full-wall geometric tile installation. Stone countertops. Leather pulls. Rattan an is chairs. A palette that finally belongs in this house.

The tile isn’t even grouted yet and we’re already obsessed.

More to come. 📍 Marblehead, MA

A quiet corner designed for slowing down.

Layered textures, warm wood, and a view of the mountains beyond. Spaces like this remind us that comfort is often found in the smallest moments.

The essence of hygge.

International Women’s Day

I’m surrounded by remarkable women.

Friends, collaborators, mentors, and clients: women who lead with heart, build businesses, share wisdom, and show up for one another in meaningful ways.

Some are close friends.
Some are collaborators and mentors.
Some are clients who have become part of the journey.

Together it feels like a growing circle of women who genuinely want to see one another succeed.

There’s something powerful about that.

Not competition rather connection.
Not comparison rather encouragement.
An understanding that when one of us moves forward, we all do.

As Amy Poehler said:
“I just love bossy women. Women who own their voices, boldly lead with heart, chase inspiration, impact and ambition without apology; and then reach back to pull other women forward.”

Grateful to be part of a community like that.
