We sure appreciate Tara taking the time to share her information about the Missing Lindeman’s, with our audience.
We unfortunately had connection issues and were very worried the connection would stop working again, so we interjected a few times to get clarification on parts, that our live audience was asking about, as well as our own clarification, with so much information being shared. We probably should’ve rescheduled due to all the technical issues, but Tara was a trooper and hung in for the second try.
Tara, says here on her update that she feels we asked hard questions about her sheriff’s department, and that she felt she needed to defend them. We in no way wanted Tara to feel like she had to defend her sheriff’s department.
This is a missing elderly couple and their dog. When they were reported missing, per our law enforcement sources, the description of the scene seemed to give probable cause for a search. But a search warrant took several days to receive. And we hear from a source close to the investigation, that another search warrant is needed and is also taking time to get. We just wanted to know what the reason for the delay on warrants is attributed to, when unfortunately, the couple had already been missing a week + at this point. Needless to say, when time is of the essence, it seems strange that it would take so long.
We have tried multiple times, 4 to be exact, to reach the sheriff’s department directly for questions about this case, but unfortunately after being told we would get a call back 3 times, and we never heard back, the 4th call, the dispatcher told us that they have a stack of people wanting calls back and it could be a while. And with no PIO, or any press conferences that were scheduled for this case, Tara seems to be the only person to get repeated interviews directly with the sheriff. And we were grateful for her time and information.
We always respect law enforcement, and the job they have to do. We know they are up against a lot. Glen’s brother in law is a former homicide detective from Kansas City, MO, one family friend was an officer in Austin Texas, and another family friend is currently a deputy with a sheriff’s department in North Texas.
We do however feel it’s appropriate when two people are missing from the same family, and location, to ask why there seems to be several days in between warrants, to search areas of interest in the investigation.
We know there’s probably a logical explanation, but our law enforcement sources felt that seemed like a long time for a case of this nature.
As we said, they also communicated, there could be a reason.
However, since we can’t ask McDonald County Sheriff’s Department directly, and Tara has spoken to the Sheriff directly, we figured she herself may have heard the answer already.
Our audience has been amazing with their interest and help in circulating information in this case on social media and it soon went viral and got attention of the national media, and for that, we’re grateful!
Thank you again to Tara for her time and patience with our remote interview, albeit not at our best, but we shared the message about the Lindemans, which was the ultimate goal.
We live in the Ozarks, and will continue to pray for the Lindeman couple and their family, that they will be found soon 🙏🏼 ~Jen
