Because adding a designer to a contractor’s process is not the same thing as a design-driven build team.

And honestly?
You can feel the difference the second you walk into the house.

People think design starts with aesthetics.
In reality, it starts with measurements, scale studies, construction planning, ceiling layouts, elevations, material coordination, lighting integration, engineering, and understanding how every detail comes together long before the furniture arrives.
Pinterest can inspire a feeling.
But ex*****on is what creates a home.
This project moved from architectural plans → concept development → renderings → construction → reality.
That process is the design.

1. Stop designing your house for resale before you even live in it. Your home should reflect YOU not a hypothetical future buyer from 7 years from now.

2. If your cabinetry doesn’t go to the ceiling… I’m going to ask why. 😅Nothing cheapens a kitchen faster than awkward dead space collecting dust. Unless your ceiling height is 10’ or more and that said there is a very intentional way we design around high ceilings in a kitchen.

3. Pinterest is inspiration — not a shopping list.
The magic is in the interpretation, layering, and ex*****on.

4. Scale matters more than people realize.
One oversized chandelier can make a room.
One undersized rug can ruin it.

5. Every “timeless” room still needs tension.
Contrast. Texture. Shape. Something unexpected.

6. Your kitchen should function as beautifully as it photographs. Pretty means nothing if the layout is frustrating to live in.

7. Lighting is the entire mood..And yes… the overhead “big light” is the enemy.

8. Trends fade. Good millwork never does.

9. If you’re building custom… customize it. Please stop designing expensive homes that feel emotionally vacant.

10. A well-designed home should feel collected over time — not ordered in one late-night online shopping spiral. 🤍

Interior design has become one of the most over-simplified industries online.

People see a finished room and think the job was picking a few pretty things from Pinterest. In reality, the true value is in the vision, the ex*****on, the problem solving, the sourcing, the scale, the coordination, the revisions, the budgeting, the construction details, and knowing how to make everything work together cohesively in real life — not just on a screen.

That’s also why my business model is structured differently.

I don’t operate on a traditional hourly + markup model. My clients pay a one-time design fee because we are collaboratively creating a full-scope vision together — organically and intentionally from concept through completion.

Design isn't a mood board. It's a process.
I'm part of a generation that learned how to build a room before there was a "link for that."
Before everything was clickable, we understood scale, layering, sourcing, and restraint.
That's why my business isn't built on hourly billing or sending ideas back and forth.
It's built on creating a full visionand executing it properly.
When you work with me, you're not just getting selections.
You're getting access, experience, and a curated end result that's cohesive from start to finish.
That only works when the process is respected.
Same millennial mindset just with standards.

The way a designer is paid shapes the entire project.

And most homeowners don’t realize that.

Some designers charge hourly. Some work on cost-plus.Some stack design fees and product markups.

My model is different — and it’s intentional.

I operate on a wholesale-based structure, which means I hold direct vendor relationships and build full rooms from the ground up without layered markups or ongoing hourly billing.

Instead of charging you for every email, meeting, or revision, we define the scope up front — what the space actually needs, how it will function, and the level of investment required to do it right.

Because great design isn’t about selecting a few pieces.

It’s about creating a cohesive, finished environment — where every decision builds on the next.

And that only works when the process is respected from start to finish.

This isn’t a “pick a few things and see what happens” approach.

It’s a fully guided, design-led process built for clients who want it done right the first time.

If that’s how you want your home to feel…this is exactly where it starts.

The biggest mistake I see homeowners make?

They start building before they’ve truly designed.

And by “designed,” I don’t mean picking finishes—I mean understanding how the home will function, flow, and come together as a whole.

Because once construction begins, every decision becomes reactive.

And reactive decisions are where projects lose clarity, cohesion… and control.

This is why your team matters.

Not just a builder.
Not just a designer.

A team that’s aligned from the start—guiding every decision with intention.

Because the wrong team doesn’t just make the process harder…

it changes the outcome entirely.

04/16/2026

Some decisions change everything.

My clients aren’t looking for more inspiration — they’re looking for clarity, direction, and a designer who knows how to execute at a high level.

I don’t chase projects.
I design for the right ones — the ones who understand that great design isn’t accidental.

If you’re building, renovating, or ready to elevate your home…

You might have just found your next best decision.
