Ever walk into your home and think… something feels off?

Not because it’s messy.
Not because it’s missing the latest trends.
But because it no longer feels like you.

Life gets busy. We evolve. Yet our homes often stay frozen in an earlier version of ourselves.

That’s where working with a designer can be so transformative.

It’s not about making your home look like everyone else’s. It’s about uncovering what already makes you unique and creating a space that reflects your story, your rhythms, and the person you’re becoming.

When your home feels unmistakably yours, something shifts. You exhale. You settle in. You want to be there.

That’s what I love most about what I do.

Helping people create sanctuaries that feel deeply personal—spaces no one else could have because no one else has lived your life.

And to me, that’s pure magic. ✨

When I was a kid, I was always asking to be told a story. Naturally, I had tons of energy and it was a process bedding down to sleep. That love of storytelling stuck with me. So when I design spaces, I need to name them, give them a title, a focus and a purpose. The best houses tell the story of the inhabitants and hold the birthdays, big and small moments so well. What’s the story of your house?🏠

The thing is, sometimes we forget nature isn’t separate from us, we are a part of nature. So if you don’t have a green thumb, no problem! There are plenty of great fake ones. Creating pockets of greenery in your home
Is not just ‘pretty’ but it reduces stress, calms the nervous system. “Nature engages "soft fascination"—a state where the brain is visually stimulated but not mentally exhausted. This allows the prefrontal cortex (the brain's center for concentration and decision-making) to rest and recover from cognitive fatigue.” Psychology Today

I love this phrase! Happy 4th of July. 🇱🇷
Remembering my grandmother, who loved a parade, was fiercely patriotic, and would hold up her cane like she was leading the way in a parade, singing "Before the parade passes by" 🎼
She surely was a rainbow and shined ever so brightly.🌈

When a writer has a story about every piece in her home, you take the design into account the same way-because who doesn't love a good story!
We transformed her space using beautiful embroidered fabric, a nod to her great aunts whom she is writing about, used blue and watery tones, as she is a lover of travel, velvet fabric on the ottoman that also is a nod to a painters palette, as her husband loved art.
Creating intentional spaces, especially for a fellow creative, is always a joy.
