Dahlia season is coming đź’•

Spring means planting time, and our tubers are waking up in the greenhouse getting ready to head to the field at the end of May.

We usually divide and store our dahlias in the fall, but if you’re dividing yours in spring before planting, this video is still full of helpful tips.

Here’s a little look at how we divide dahlias and what we look for when separating healthy tubers for the season ahead.

Happy planting!

Today we celebrate a big moment.
My sweet Baylee turned sixteen.

It’s hard to believe how quickly the years have moved, but even harder to put into words how proud we are of the young woman she’s becoming. She is grounded in who she is, true to herself and to everyone around her. A fierce friend. Thoughtful. Funny. Strong. And completely, unapologetically Baylee.

She makes my heart feel whole in a way only she can.

Baylee, I love you more than I’ll ever be able to say. Thank you for the light you bring into our lives and for making our world better every single day. Happy 16th, sweetheart!

We’ve been quiet for a reason. 🌸

We’re putting the final touches on our dahlia tuber sale, launching this Saturday on the website. Every tuber has been grown, tested, and loved right here on our farm—because we only share what truly performs for us in our climate.

If dahlias are on your garden wishlist this year, keep your eyes here.

Good things are almost ready. đź’•

Meet Holly Hill Daydream 🌸

Feathery petals that flutter from peach to watermelon pink, a soft glow at the center, and the kind of presence that makes you stop and stare — even when you meant to be weeding. Daydream is one of those varieties that feels dreamy and romantic… but quietly reliable in the garden.

What we love about her:
• Generous 4–5” blooms on long, sturdy stems
• A steady bloomer once she hits her stride
• A standout in mixed bouquets — she holds her color and shape beautifully
• Vase life averages 5–6 days with clean water + a fresh cut

She’s that perfect middle ground — bold enough to wow on her own, soft enough to blend into any arrangement.
And if you’re someone who loves a garden that feels like soft summer evenings and slow sunsets?
This one’s for you.

✨ P.S. Our 2025 dahlia tuber sale opens Friday, January 23rd
Mark your calendar, set a reminder, tell your flower-bestie — this beauty (and many more) are dropping soon and won’t stick around long.

As we begin to close out the 2025 season, we just want to pause and say thank you — truly, deeply. Every order, every workshop seat filled, every kind message and shared moment has meant more to us than you know. Bramble & Sage exists because of this community, and we never take that for granted.

This time of year is a quiet one for us. The garden rests, and so do we — sitting down together with journals open, reflecting on what went well, what stretched us, and what we’re ready to grow into next. It’s a season of gratitude and intention, of dreaming forward while honoring what’s already bloomed.

Thank you for believing in slow beauty, local flowers, handmade experiences, and the magic of gathering. We’re so excited for what’s ahead — and so grateful you’re here, growing with us. 💕

It’s been a wild one… A little glimpse into our November: the gala, our big family adventure, and sliding straight into Christmas prep.

From pumpkins to pine- 🌲
Watch how we transform this porch. Here is proof that a few winter greens can completely transform a space.

We took this porch from fall to full holiday spirit—evergreen garland, a fresh wreath, and seasonal planters that feel timeless and natural. When do you decorate?

For this year’s Stokes Nature Center Gala, we had the joy of creating something a little different — mini meadow-scapes bursting with soft texture, movement, and that wild, hazy magic we love.

Supporting Stokes and the work they do for our community is such an honor, and contributing to this event always feels like coming home to our roots.

Here’s a peek at what we grew, gathered, and dreamed up for their night. Thank you for the opportunity.
