Zentangle Art! I have always LOVED the simplicity & contrast of black & white prints. So, I tried it.. Drawing repetitive, organic shapes and inking puts you into a meditative state & is so relaxing! Give it a try! Supplies used-Arrtx Acrylic markers, watercolor paper, washi tape, Sakura sigma pens .08mm, 1.0mm & brush pen, sharpie dual tip.

Owning a handmade quilt is a treasured keepsake! Owning a handmade quilt made by the makers allows you to help the quiltmakers in Honduras & their children. This is my 3rd quilt purchased from www.onecommonthread.org. I gifted the "Beehive" quilt to Daniel Adams on Father's Day since we are both learning the art of beekeeping. Many of you know, I am a quilt maker too. It takes ALOT of time, heart, and money invested in fabrics & supplies to create these treasures. website is full of beautiful handmade baby quilts, quilts of all sizes, quilt jackets, quilted holiday stocking, placemats, & more-all at reasonable prices. I've been developing adorable bird designs using my scrap fabric, appliqued and sewn onto tea towels. Opinion: Should I trim the bottoms of towels with pom-poms, Rick rack, or just leave them? Thanks in Advance:

"Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Blue"...I'm making my daughter's wedding bouquet at her request. She wants brooches as part of it & she has a collection from her grandmothers, godmother, her mother-in-law to be and myself. The purple cross was given from my mom who passes away 4 years ago. She will be with her firstborn grandchild in spirit.

Do you Love the Ocean?
Octopus Garden has been a collage quilt that I've been working on & off for awhile. The quilt top is pieced & sewn. Next stop, 3 layer quilt sandwich, then quilting entire piece.

This blustery, rainy, gloomy weather has me thinking of warmer weather! I'm trying out these beautiful Rub On Transfers by on linen and will either frame some vignettes or make pillows or Both! Just following the creative flow and will see where I end up.

When you mix dozens of fabrics & create collage applique art crossed with traditional quilting you get THIS!
I love French country fabrics, florals, and chinsorie blues & whites. I used Emily Taylor's Collage Quilter vase patterns to embellish my French country/shabby chic quilt top with chinsorie vases....so yummy!
