Sheri Stricklin Still working on my health journey, my garden and my quest to cruise as much as possible! So far I’ve lost over 100 pounds through calorie deficit and walking.

I love to grow what I eat and preserve my fresh food. Join me! Years ago, I started buying storage units at auction. It just killed me to see what were once beautiful pieces of furniture, rotting away, broken and sad. I just couldn't stand the thought of taking these 'diamonds in the rough' to the dump. I began repairing, refinishing and re-loving these items to make them useful and relevant again. This practice became a passion for me, and now I not only re-love pieces I find, but I also help people realize the beauty in their own pieces, by customizing finishes and repairing their treasures. Money Monday! Can you tell him a little annoyed? I had one sale this week on eBay for $26 after fees. On marketplace I had four no-shows, five offers that were less than half of the listing price and 14 “is this available? “ that totally ghosted me after saying hi yes it is so I hope everyone is having a great day except you people you know who you are. Yesterday I dropped an egg. Today I dropped an entire half onion. What’s going on? Sometimes I do drop things but not this often. So that’s how my day is starting again. How’s your day starting?

Yay! For throwing some stuff together and coming out with something delicious. I rubbed both side sides of the pork chops with Kinder’s Cowboy Butter seasoning, onion powder, and Kinder‘s the Blend which is just salt, pepper and garlic. I then seared them in a pan with some nonstick spray for three minutes per side. In the meantime, I mixed a quarter cup of red w**e vinegar, a quarter cup of soy sauce, and an eighth of a cup of hot honey in a small bowl.

Once the pork chops were seared on each side I melted 1 tablespoon of light Country Crock margarine in with them and added a clove of chopped garlic. I then poured my sauce over it and let it simmer and turn into a glaze. This low-calorie meal is so flavorful and packed with protein. I paired it with a small baked potato and green beans.
