A year ago we were moving all of our equipment into the studio during the Front Porch Music fest in Noblesville and this year we’re heading down to enjoy the tunes of so many local bands and musicians that we’ve grown to love over the years. 🍻 to a beautiful weekend Noblesville!!

Every sparkle, every inkling of creative energy, every enticing new direction…I feel all of it. That’s not a bad thing. It’s actually the whole reason Left Grain exists.

But the business doesn’t survive on creative energy alone. The forcing myself to sit down and do the routine parts…that’s what keeps the doors open. Literally and figuratively.

Still working on that balance. Probably always will be. But also always taking time to let the creativity lead…

P.S. Taking photos of flowers is my current creative squirrel…

Ready for a big day in Noblesville tomorrow!! The farmers market will be on Maple! Peony Fest Hoosier Market Series Tomato Fest will be at Seminary Park AAAAAND there’s a Bloody Mary Crawl with all the down town businesses 🥂 🍅 It’s a great time to come visit downtown City of Noblesville, Ind.

Love this!! 🥹

Today is our first full day back in business at Schwartz’s since the flooding began on August 14th.

The bait shop is still here. The bobber, and its top, is sitting on our front porch. The lights are back on and our doors are open for business: soggy floors, loud fans, road dust and all. There is still much work to be done, but there always is.

We have received the most heartfelt support from our community: emotionally, physically, and financially.

Because we are back on our feet sooner than we ever imagined, and have raised enough with our GoFundMe to keep going, we would like to ask those of you who still feel inclined to help with flood recovery to consider donating and volunteering to those who have lost everything: our neighbor George at Son-Shine Auto, the Southwest Quad families, and the folks of Riverwood.

The luckiest little bait shop THANKS YOU from the bottom of our flooded basement and our hearts. Each day we remain in business is another Thank You. And another, and hopefully another. It’s all you, guys.
