One of 20 homes and historic sites to see August 15th! ❤️❤️❤️

Built circa 1906, this beautifully preserved Queen Anne–style residence with early Colonial Revival influences offers a distinctive blend of historic charm and refined modern living in Norcross. Originally commissioned by Thomas Ray of the Southern Oak Harness and Leather Company, the home later served as residence and medical practice for Dr. William Puett over his 35-year career.

By the 1970s, the property had been converted into apartments before being restored to a single-family residence. Significant architectural features remain intact, including six fireplaces, more than thirty windows with stained and cut glass examples, and a gracious front porch supported by Ionic columns reflecting Colonial Revival influence. The porch, originally wraparound, was later modified for office space. Inside, a dramatic stair hall features a decorative spindle screen with bead-turned balusters, creating a striking first impression.

Current owners Pam and Jeff Hopper have curated elegant interiors that honor the home’s historic character while elevating its livability, offering a rare opportunity where timeless architecture meets refined modern design.

Lord, we thank you for this beautiful man. He was a mighty warrior for Jesus. He loved his wife and family endlessly, cherished his many friends, adored his fur babies and was a deeply proud American, and Navy veteran. Always a gentleman, inspiring strength and caring in everyone around him.
Though our hearts are aching for the love and warmth you brought into our lives. We will cherish the memories in our hearts, forever. Thank you God, for giving us Ronald Suddeth.
Details of a celebration of his life will be shared soon.
