The holiday season is approaching, and we want to help you plan your projects accordingly.

To ensure the best opportunity for your custom window treatments to be completed and delivered before Christmas, please submit orders by: Friday, October 16, 2026

Orders submitted after October 16 will still be accepted and processed, but delivery before Christmas cannot be guaranteed.

Because our products are custom-made, production times may vary depending on the product, fabric availability, order size, and customization requirements.

If you have holiday installations, year-end projects, or clients hoping to have their window treatments completed before Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, we strongly encourage placing those orders as early as possible.

Sometimes the best window treatment solution is the one that works with the architecture, not against it.

For this residential project, the goal was to add privacy and light control while preserving the character of these unusually shaped windows and keeping the upper architectural glass exposed.

WCD measured, fabricated, and installed custom light-filtering roller shades specifically for the lower window openings. Careful sizing allowed the shades to fit cleanly within the detailed trim without covering the decorative glass above.

The shades use a clutch-operated system with an ANSI-certified tensioner for a simple, controlled operation.

Projects like this are a good example of why custom window treatments go beyond choosing a fabric and a color. Window shape, trim, mounting space, operation, and how the room will actually be used all influence the final solution.

Blackout: Maximum light control and privacy. Ideal for bedrooms, media rooms, and spaces where darkness matters.

As part of our current project at the University of Tennessee Veterinary School with Knoxville Venetian Blind Company, we're installing both 1% and 3% C-Screen roller shades because different areas of the building receive different amounts of natural sunlight.

Our workroom recently completed this beautiful bay window featuring three custom Classic Roman Shades with horizontal striped fabric. Each shade was carefully fabricated with basic lining, inside mounts, Dofix tape, and shrouded cords for a clean, professional finish.

What makes this project especially impressive is the pattern alignment. Matching horizontal stripes across multiple Roman shades in a bay window requires meticulous measuring, fabric planning, and expert fabrication. Every stripe was carefully positioned to ensure the lines flow seamlessly from shade to shade, creating a cohesive and balanced look throughout the entire window.

For added convenience, the two side shades feature clutch operation, while the center shade is cordless, offering both functionality and child-safe operation without compromising the design.
