I was going for a cheerful Christmas gif when I saw this. I scrolled past and then backed back up. We spend so much thought, time and all kinds of tallent on gifts and food and making our places look bright and welcoming.

We also need to take care of ourselves so that we can enjoy our holidays and so we have that extra umph to give to others.

Treat yourself to something that you truly enjoy this holiday. A new pattern, fabric you've been wanting, a really good eggnog, time out for a Christmas movie. Just something that makes you happy.

What's on my mind? Wellll....
1) Realizing my website still isn't up. Spring was busy. I put time in on it this summer, but when autumn came around I slacked off.
2) I enjoy my life in Norfolk as buyer for Fabric Hut and the neighborhood I live in.
3) I appreciate but don't enjoy the 2 mile walk 6 days a week through a more scenic neighborhood right around the corner.
4) And of course on New Years Day, I'm thinking of my friends and hoping you have a truly wonderful and artistically productive (quilts etc) New Year!
