Shop update:

I broke my right foot, big toe. I am on the mend now. I can't be making candles as I recover not just because of the pain standing but because of the medication I'm on for pain, making my body a bit numb.

I do have some already made products, however, so if you are interested in something I may have products for you to choose from.

Yesterday I dropped off some Nordic Nights to Aries Apothecary. It will be a day or two before they are on the shelves.

This scent is specifically an Aries Apothecary candle. It's earthy and airy with a bit of tree in the mix.

Sunday from 12 to 6pm I will be outside of Aries at their anniversary event selling my items.

Yesterday, while making some Rose Petal Gelato candles, I noticed how the hot wax color looked like cranberry juice. I really really wanted to drink the burning hot wax.

Today starts Native American Heritage Month. I have attached a picture of Ojibwe medicine wheel. Think of the medicine wheel as sort of like a spiritual compass/shield/guide. A lot of tribes have their own version of the wheel or sometimes called hoop. This one wheel is relevant to me because I myself am Anishinaabe (as the collective group) and Ojibwa as the subset of Native People.
