Oh, friends—if you saw my earlier post, you know we had a ‘little’ water intrusion at the store.

Thankfully, I was there for a meeting and was able to tend to the issue while Carrie managed the front.

None of our consignors items were damaged-🙌🏻 and I tackled a few on site tasks while I waited for the roofing company.

Issue is unresolved, but…the sun will shine tomorrow!

And tonight…I enjoyed a G/T while eating my Baker's Crust Artisan Kitchen dinner with my sterling silver—yep, we use it every day!

What a weekend!! So…much…fun!

Thanks to everyone that came out to shop, consign or browse.

We will get our workout in tomorrow as we move sold items off the floor and newly consigned items onto the floor.

Highly recommend you come in earlier in the week than later. At the very least, shop the website.

Word is out about The Redefinery! In store traffic and website purchases are definitely picking up!

BIG DAY yesterday means this week is going to be AWESOME!

Yesterday was Merchandise Monday-we moved the whole store around, refreshed every vignette. It’s what we do and it’s why every day is literally a NEW day at The Redefinery!

The Redefinery is hiring! We have a small, but incredibly mighty team and would love to welcome 2 new team members.

While there is SO MUCH to love about working at The Redefinery (new merchandise every day, incredible customers that quickly become friends), it does require physical strength and computer skills.

We move furniture A LOT and are on our feet most of the day. The days fly by and you’ll never be bored. Even on ‘slow’ days, we are busy processing consignments.

The software we use isn’t hard to learn, but does require attention to detail. Experience with Shopify, Google and editing photos is a plus!

This antique trunk has already lived a few lives. The better question is: what’s its next one?

A blanket chest in the guest room? Sure.
But also…

• A coffee table with actual soul
• Toy storage that doesn’t scream “plastic bin”
• A bench at the foot of the bed
• A bar setup for entertaining
• A landing spot in an entryway
• A conversation piece no big box store can fake

Hand-hewn wood, rope handles, dovetail joints, worn paint 😍😍😍That patina took decades. Maybe longer. You can’t “distress” your way into this kind of character.

At The Redefinery, we love pieces like this because they remind us that good design used to be built for use first—and beauty naturally followed.
