It’s hard to believe that May is almost over and summer is right around the corner! With that in mind it’s time to talk about summer camp!!

We will be offering two different weeks of camp this year-

Beginning Sewing Camp - perfect for the child who has never sewn on a sewing machine or has minimal sewing experience.
We make tote bags, wallets and more!
Monday, July 13 to Friday July 17th 9-12pm. Cost is $375, all supplies are included.

Arts and Crafts Camp - this is new camp for us and harkens back to Mrs. Vaccas roots as an art teacher. We’ll be exploring printmaking, bookmaking, weaving, jewelry making and more.
Monday, July 20th-Friday, July 24th 9-12pm cost is $375 and all materials are included.

Both camps are being held at Heirloom New England and are appropriate for kids age 8-14. Space is limited to 6 students per session. Contact Jennifer with any questions or to sign up 😊

Did you know Heirloom New England now carries yarn? It’s gorgeous and I’m so excited about my new project!

I’m a sucker for a scarf and because it’s near my face I want something soft and warm. I’m pairing Kelbourne Woolens Harmony and Camper together in colors Sage Blue and Sky Heather respectively.

I’m a crazy slow knitter but I’ll keep you posted on my progress!

New workshop alert! 😊

Have you always been interested in quilting but you don’t know where to start? This workshop is a perfect place!

The River Rapids Quilt by Kohatu Patterns is great for beginners. No cutting tiny pieces or needing lots of fabrics to make a beautiful keepsake.

Class will meet Saturday 5/30, 6/13 and 6/27 1-5 pm at Heirloom New England. Cost is $125 and does not include pattern or materials.

One of the things I love finding as a fiber enthusiast is vintage buttons, snaps and other notions. I make a lot of my own clothing and they’re put to good use.

I especially love the cards you find them on and the original price. 15 cents!! For all of the tiny pieces!

My adult students are creating such amazing things!

One of my favorite Noodlehead bags is the Poolside Tote. Lucky you there’s two different workshop series you can join to make one of your own!

Series A will meet on Mondays-5/4, 5/18 and 6/1 from 10-1 pm.

Series B will meet on Sundays-5/31, 6/14 and 6/28 from 10-1.

Workshop cost is $125 and does not include pattern or supplies.

It was a busy weekend of workshops! Saturday was the second class of our Quilted Jacket workshop and Sunday was the Taco bag work shop.

A great weekend of creativity with great students!
