🦞Hampton Beach Seafood Festival Rewind🦀

Out of the five years that we have participated in this event, this was our best year yet!

I cannot express how much this show means to me. I’ve been attending this event since I was a little girl myself. Growing up I hated saying goodbye to summer but always was excited that the Seafood Festival was close by.

So after attending this event for so many years (I am not calling myself old!) I was beyond ecstatic when I applied and was accepted as a vendor five years ago.

I have so many close artisan vendors that also participate in this show and it is like a large reunion when we all get together.

This show is also where I first met one of my best friends, Corenna, and her mom Deb from Deb’s business Sunshine Apothecary and they make the best neighbors! I think we also get along so well because she knows what it’s like working alongside our mothers 😂

So the Seafood Festival may have ended a week ago, but I am still not over it.

I have included photos of some of my favorite pieces that sold and some of the fan favorites. Also, I included my two biggest pieces, Sandy the Shark, and the Large Caribbean Surfboard and their new owners.

Also, do not miss the last photo! Sunday was raining all day. And where we were on the street, there was a bit of a slope. So all day we joked there was a river in front of us. So when Corenna’s daughter and I went to a gift shop and I saw rubber duckies on inflatable tubes, I just knew we had to have duck races. And that may have been the most fun we had all three days. We certainly entertained everyone around!

Next up is the Visit Freeport Freeport Fall Festival October 2-4 in Freeport, Maine. We will be in the same spot we’ve been in the past two years, in the Mallard Parking Lot across from the LL Bean main campus. This is another favorite festival of ours!

Then the very next weekend we will be at the Yarmouth Seaside Festival October 10-11 in Yarmouth, MA. We do not know our exact location, but we are hoping to be across from the stage once again.

Time to get back to the studio and make more of these beautiful pieces!

🩵Bamboo Lid Final Prep💚

Think that the job is done after the resin pour? Nope!

The cleanup process is quite involved using multiple tools from drills and X-Acto knives to palm sanders and finishing oil and wax.

We are so excited to join this event this year!

On June 27th in Maine, the 50th Annual South Berwick Strawberry Festival takes place and is always one of the best local events of the summer in the state! Held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, this longtime event draws over 20,000 visitors for a full day of food, music, and family fun. Strawberry favorites are the highlight, especially fresh strawberry shortcake and strawberry cheesecake served throughout the day. Around the grounds, you’ll find over 100 New England artisans selling handmade goods, along with a busy food court run by local non-profit groups. Live entertainment keeps things going all day with music, bands, and a magician on two stages. Kids can enjoy games, crafts, rides, and activities in the field area. Free parking and trolley service make getting around easy, and every dollar spent helps support local groups and community projects.
