For over 31 years, I was a flight attendant roaming the world. Today, I roam resale shops and garage sales looking for my next project to make pretty.

To see more, visit my booth in the lower level at Vintage Marketplace Co, North Aurora, IL.

This weekend is a good time to make a toast to Da Coach in vintage 1980’s Bears glasses. I just brought them in today and they won’t last long. Available at Happenstance Vintage , 211 S. Lincolnway St, North Aurora. Open every day 10-6.

October 2 & 3, everything in my booth is 10–20% OFF—and that savings applies storewide, too! 🛍️

It’s the perfect excuse to come browse vintage, refinished furniture, Mid-Century pieces, and all the decor to get inspired.

Before & After: Rescued from the garbage and given a whole new lease on life, I rescued this pedestal dining table from the trash and brought it out of the 1990s and straight into 2026.

Here’s proof that sometimes all a piece needs is someone willing to see what it could be. Available at Happenstance Vintage, 211 S. Lincolnway St., North Aurora, IL. Open every day, 10-6.

This 90’s hunter green pedestal table is getting an update to match today’s decor. The pedestal has been painted and the top sanded. It just needs to be stained and protected. Stay tuned!

Look at all this fabulous stuff! Happenstance Vintage doesn’t do sales very often so take advantage of this opportunity!

Before & After: A little paint can work wonders. This petite Drexel Heritage table went from dark and understated to seriously eye-catching with a soft, on-trend green finish (Wise Owl OHE in Shade Green) and a lighter wood top. Same classic piece, completely fresh look. I’m loving the hidden shelf that extends the table top space! Available@soon at Happenstance Vintage, 211 S. Lincolnway Street, North Aurora, IL.

I’ve added plenty of golden goodness to my booth, including a fabulous pair of MCM lamps, framed artwork, and vintage barware. Warm, a little glamorous, and just the right amount of retro—because fall decor doesn’t have to be all pumpkins and flannel.
