Hello, everyone! Good things take time- and a little polishing! When we first opened it was a whirlwind. Now we're taking a brief pause to make our vintage haven everything you-and we-dreamed it could be.
Our reopening date is still up in the air, but we are hard at work, and the transformation is underway!
Keep an eye on our feed to watch the progress, and thank you for your patience and support! It will be worth the wait🥰

Yesterday, two sweet friends and fellow business owners came in, loved on us, made videos, shared our little Mercantile with their followers and supported us exactly as we are. ❤️

And without even realizing it, they gave us a wake-up call we really needed.

Seeing our space through someone else’s eyes made us realize that somewhere along the way, we had started letting the things we were simply trying to move out take up too much space from the things that really represent who we are and what we’re building.

They didn’t do anything wrong. In fact, they did us a favor. They loved us exactly as they found us — clutter, bargain piles and all. 😂 But watching those videos made us look around and say…

This isn’t who we are. And it isn’t who we’re trying to become.

So today, we’re making room.

We’ve pulled things out, created a FREE pile out front at 2299 Greensburg Rd., and we’re getting ready to donate even more. We’re clearing out the “maybe somebody will give us a couple bucks for this” stuff so we can make room for the beautiful, unusual, vintage, creative and downright fabulous things that we want The Mercantile & Makery to be known for.

Good morning, everyone! There is a heat advisory this week and because we do not have electricity to run our fans or a cooling system, we've made the decision to cancel our sale dates this week to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy. (We will have electricity in the near future!)
That being said, if you see a car there and we're working on things, feel free to stop by- Or if you see something you're interested in, please message us.

Hello! Well...it's been a few years!❤️
If you've been around for my last shop adventure (with my mom) you know how passionate I am about finding and curating beautiful things for the home. After some time away, I'm excited to share that I'm jumping back into the world of home decor, furniture, and vintage treasures with my friend Jena Marie Taylor as I'm helping her open her shop in Green, Ohio on June 12th!
This chapter may look a little different at first. The building has plenty of character-and plenty of work-still ahead of it. Instead of waiting until every corner is perfect, we've decided to embrace the imperfections and open the doors! There may be a little dust, a few unfinished projects, and lots of dreaming in progress, but there will also be fabulous finds, periodic sales, and plenty of fun along the way.
So consider this your invitation to come along for the ride! You'll get to watch the transformation unfold, while shopping for unique vintage treasures that we love to gather just for you!
We can't wait to welcome old friends and meet new ones. Follow along as this old building- and this new adventure- comes to life!
