Hey, everyone. Today I'm kicking off a book drive for the students of Robb Elementary and their siblings.

You may have seen my announcement about this earlier. My teammate, Kaity, lives in Uvalde and will be distributing tote bags filled with a mixture of different activity books and stories, crayons and colored pencils in a couple weeks when the students are reunited to retrieve their belongings and see each other again. We have a unique opportunity because Usborne Books & More will match donations to a book drive with 50% more in books.

So here's the plan: We want to provide brand new maroon tote bags filled with FIVE new books inside each one to every student of Robb Elementary School, plus extras to give out to their siblings. I would love your support and help to reach my personal goal of providing 5 books inside totes for 30 kids. That's what I've pledged and I know we can do it. I only have a short window of time to collect funds because the distribution day is in early June.

Over the next few days I'll be sharing the link to donate, and while you can donate any amount and no amount is too small, $30 is what it takes to sponsor 1 child. Again, I'm donating my commission and that is what will cover the totes and art supplies, and the company is matching what we raise with 50% so that helps your donation go even farther. I have until June 1st to raise $900 so I can meet my goal to sponsor 30 kids! Thank you so much for considering making a contribution. This last week has been filled with sorrow and heartache that no parent, sibling, friend, or community should ever have to experience. I know I’ve personally hugged my boys a little tighter and longer each day. My heart breaks for Uvalde, Texas.

I have a teammate in Uvalde who is going to distribute activity totes to the students of Robb Elementary in June. We're working together as a team to raise enough money for each kid and their siblings to receive a maroon tote bag filled with 5 activity books, crayons, and colored pencils. We are aiming for 700 activity totes.

I've pledged to raise enough to donate a small part of that and I'd love to have you join me in comforting this community in a small way.
