Having our first sample sale in our new location in South Carolina had me reflecting on my beginnings to where we are today.

I have to admit, as I was setting up for this event I thought of my dear friends back in Kirkland Washington and all the sample sales we had done together. I was missing them and feeling such gratitude for what they had done to help get me to this place.

However, through organizing, tagging, hauling, rolling racks in and out of the rain, I realized how lucky I am to have, not only great memories from the past, but new beginnings here in SC with my amazing team I love so much. Not to mention all of the new friends that have pitched in to help us find our way.

It’s been 11 years since I began this journey. I was 50 when I started. What was I thinking? But it has been such a rewarding time in my life. To be surrounded with great people and beautiful product is a dream come true.

If I can do it at 50 with NO past experience in the retail/wholesale business, you can too! If you are creating something you believe in and have a passion for, you are on your way. Undoubtedly, there will be others that will love your product as much as you do. Don’t give up, believe in you yourself and be surrounded with people that you love, respect and admire.

What’s better than an apple c***r spritz? An apple c***r spritz served in a pewter glass, of course! 🥂

I love finding little ways to welcome a new season, and a festive cocktail is always a good place to start. Our Verona Pewter Glass makes even a simple cocktail feel a little more special.

And this one couldn’t be easier. Just remember 1-2-3: 1 oz. amaretto, 2 oz. apple c***r and 3 oz. sparkling w**e. Add a few apple and orange slices and a cinnamon stick, and you’re ready to serve!
