Okayyyy this one feels BIG. 🥹

LUMOS has been lucky enough to find its way onto retail shelves before — but never quite like this.

Our new space inside Southern Surcees Collective is officially our biggest retail setup yet, and seeing this much of LUMOS all together in one space feels a little surreal.

I’ve spent a lot of time packing up for markets, setting up pop-ups, pouring candles, restocking shelves and slowly growing this little business — so getting to step back and look at this space all finished was a pretty special moment.

And she’s already SELLING. 😭

I’m really proud of this one. 🤍

This one is a little outside my comfort zone. 🫣

If you’ve met me at a market, you already know I’m not exactly shy 😂 But putting myself on the LUMOS feed — especially more than the carefully selected photo here and there — is a whole different story.

I’ve always been much more comfortable letting the candles be the face of this brand. But LUMOS is growing, and I’m trying to get a little more comfortable growing right along with it.

So here I am — wicking what feels like approximately 900 candles 😂 and getting stock ready for a VERY exciting weekend.

This Sunday, LUMOS officially moves into Southern Surcees Collective 🤍

Seeing something I’ve built take up permanent space in a store feels pretty damn special.

So here’s to getting a little uncomfortable, showing up a little more, and the whole lot of candles I still need to pour before Sunday. 😂✨

🎃🍂🍁 It’s hot as H E double hockey sticks outside but it smells like Fall in the studio! We are pouring our first set of Fall candles and longing for sweater weather. Autumn Glow is back this year. We couldn’t keep this scent stocked last year. Be sure to keep an eye out for their release date!

Join us this Saturday, August 8 from 12–3 PM at The Spring House, the beautiful waterfront gathering place nestled beside The Dunlin. Think marsh views, dreamy Lowcountry scenery, and one of the most beautiful properties around Charleston. The Spring House serves as the community’s central gathering place with riverfront decks, pools, amazing food and the cutest Refinery all overlooking the Kiawah River. 🌴

We’ll be bringing our full collection of botanical candles—including our last of the limited edition Citronella Veil 🚫🦟—along with all of your favorite floral and succulent designs.

Whether you’re staying at The Dunlin, exploring Kiawah River for the day, or simply looking for a beautiful Saturday outing, we’d love to see you.
