REVAMPINGS by Carolyn Parker functional art in wood, steel, and stuff

Having invented myself again (first and always a performing artist, then a teaching artist, and now a visual artist), I'm taking old things, semi-old things, and new things and combining them to create unique "functional art in wood, steel, and stuff". Wood working and metal sculpting are my passions and I've created custom desks, tables, seating, and shelving units along with my sweet "rebeadings

", crystal and disentangled bead icicles for home decorating. Currently, I'm designing and making plant hangers using steel and pieces of old ceiling fans (one of my favorite designs!) and am jazzed about keeping what I can out of landfills!
