Hey peeps! The correct answer to yesterday’s shell question is shell #4!…and here’s why:

Because this heart is wide and full at the top, it wouldn’t make for a drilled ornament if turned the other way.

I chose the inside of the shell instead of large ridged outside like I normally do because I wanted it to sit like a dish. If I did the other side, it would look like an ornament but the hole would be at the wrong end.

This shell sold as soon as I was gilding it. It went to a lady who lost her grandson to a heart murmur just days after birth. 😢

Last night was another crazy casino night! Lots of wins, fun with new friends! Dinner in Crown Grill amazing as always: porterhouse steak that melts in your mouth, jumbo shrimp cocktail, moscato and key lime meringue bar with strawberry drizzle for dessert. Ate with new friends Chris and Nicky…met in the casino.
