Something nobody tells you about selling vintage: your inventory will literally take over the entire house (and the car and the garage too). Definitely makes you feel a bit insane and not unlike a hoarder. It’s no longer our house. It’s the stuff’s house and we just get to live in it. Send help.

Vintage shopping is part history lesson, part treasure hunt, and part personal style.

And when you bring those pieces into your home, you’re not just preserving the past—you’re giving it a future.

So the next time you’re debating between something brand new and something vintage, I hope you’ll consider giving the old thing a chance.

It might have a little more story to tell.
