Hi Everyone, I'm going to be selling my pottery this weekend at Prairie Creek Pottery (link below)

I'm going to be taking part in the Studio ArTour this year! It'll run from Oct. 9 - 10 (this weekend) from 10am to 6/5 pm.

So in mid-August I fired the Wood kiln for the second time. I took the helm on this one, producing the majority of pieces and doing the majority of the work.

The other potter's involved in this were John, Barbara, and Kate (fellow apprentice).

Here's a few of the photo's of the pieces. I'll also be uploading some videos, enjoy!

All the pieces to go into the firing. Some of John's, mine, and Barbara's. The firing lasted just over 12 hours, we had pretty heavy reduction and a good hold at Cone 11. So the colors should be spectacular!!

Also, yes, it was over 100 degrees inside the kiln shed when firing.
