Time in the kitchen just doesn’t happen often these days! Threw together Maple 🎃 Pumpkin Granola this morning. The house smells amazing and my “creative” side feels somewhat satisfied.

I know you’re all excited about fall 🍁 here in Central PA, but I’d be content to fast forward from the end of September to April 😉🌷

I was not aware that yesterday was National Muffin Day. But Muffins it was! Double Chocolate 🍫
These don’t last long around here. They have no egg, no banana, and lots of zucchini. Who knew?

Thinking ahead to warmer months and getting away from soup for a sec….

Chicken Salad will be a Bake & Burn deli menu item — still working on perfecting it! 🤩 Which, of course, means sampling it with one of my favorite crunchy veggies.

Sadly, I cannot put onion in it or no one in this household will eat it!

Finally had a chance to mix up a couple jars of DIY laundry boost! Three ingredients. Experimenting with some different scents.

We haven’t used fabric softeners or artificially scented laundry boosts in years! Currently working through a bag of Unscented Laundry Detergent from Earthley. Still determining whether I love it or like it 😄

What’s your favorite all-natural find when it comes to laundry?

Something our family loves to do for our friends is to pet sit. If you don’t want your pup to go to a kennel this year while you are on vacation, please reach out in case we can help spoil your furbaby. We also travel locally to take care of cats or other animals that need checked once a day. Northumberland/Milton/Lewisburg area.

Meet Nya, Otis, and Astro. I could not find pics of our german shepherd friend, Layla!

It’s a win-win: the boys earn money, it teaches them responsibility and kindness toward living things, AND helps us to decide what kind of dog is our favorite, in case we get one in the future 😸
