We always think pink at Danielson’s, especially after losing my beloved mother in law-Cathy Land to breast cancer 10 years ago 🙏💕 She is the reason I have big weeds growing in and around my greenhouses 🫣🤣, and that we choose not to treat our garden starts with toxic chemicals for pests. There have been other more recent losses of incredible ladies to breast cancer than I’d like to admit-and I feel like knowledge is power!
October is breast cancer awareness month, and we want to remind all our ladies to do monthly self breast exams-early detection is key! To all our friends who are 40 years older-annual mammograms are a must! I admit that I need to get mine scheduled 🙄 …I’m setting a goal to have it scheduled by the end of this week!! 💪
Every year we honor those lost by doing a drawing and giveaway to encourage those who are currently fighting and/or who have won their battles with breast cancer. This year I’m super excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with some other local Norway businesses! Not only will nominated winners be drawn to receive a beautiful fresh floral bouquet from us here at Danielson’s, but they will be gifted a certificate from one of the following businesses 🤩
