Still some filler and caulk and cleanup to go, but I’m pretty sure this pantry is about to become my absolute favorite room in the house! At

What started as a “quick makeover before the replacement washing machine gets delivered” has turned into a 3 month intense redo of the pantry/laundry where I challenged myself to let my whimsy show to fill advantage - swipe to see where I started!

Not only a pink and white pantry, but one with a gingham ceiling done in proportion to a daring scallop trim that coordinated beautifully with the scalloped/beaded glass on the ceiling light, which matches the beadboard (wallpaper) covered walls

I do so love it when a plan comes together 💕🙌🏻

💖SWIPE💖 Only a few more steps to go to finish my pink gingham ceiling (cure time, taping off where the darker pink squares go, painting the darker pink squares x2, touch ups as needed, crown moulding) but wow it’s come a long way from soot stained crumbling plaster 😅

This ceiling was inspired by a pink gingham wallpaper I discovered (painted white 😭) on the powder room ceiling that had a corresponding pink and green gingham daisy wallpaper (scrap found under the sink) on the walls. Want to see them?
