Two small updates in our 1896 home 🏡 updating a house is costly, that’s why I try to be be as transparent as possible! I try to thrift as much as I can but somethings you have to buy new. I’m loving our progress one room at a time!!

It’s been 5 months since we moved into our old gal andddd the dining room is almost complete :) down the road we might change the ceiling but for now it’s fine! The chandelier also came with the house and I think it adds a beautiful touch!🪄🕯️

Cottage Guest Room Update 🛌🔨 I love this warm pink brown paint that pairs SO well with the black gingham day bed! In the next few weeks we’re getting low pile carpet installed and as a carpet hater to my core I’m actually excited for the upstairs to have it!!

Mini guest room update!! 🏠As you know we moved into a 1896 American 4square home and very slowly updating each room on a budget. This is the first room upstairs we decided to tackle. This is our guest room and it’s very tiny! I went with the gingham daybed to add some character to the space and we went with the extra bed pull option for more sleeping! 😴 I decided on Wheatpenny by Sherwin-Williams for paint!! Super pretty brown pink :) still have a few more things to do but the feeling of almost having a room complete is SO rewarding!!!
