Relax today after a crazy weekend? Hardly. Today was the first day of the flooring project at Shiplap & Chandeliers. Lots of good progress made!

Finished this antique floor lamp I paired with a custom shade to bring this baby back to life! I'll be bringing it into my shop located inside Simply Shiplap in Norfolk.

It measures 58" tall x 14" wide.

No antique books were harmed in this process. Well....except the vintage floral book where I cut out the flowers for this idea.

This French style chandelier is gorgeous. I'm obsessed with the amethyst colored crystals throughout the piece.

I'm brought this baby to Shiplap & Chandeliers in Norwood tonight, just so you could checkit out this weekend!. We're open Thursday thru Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm.

My husband, Ted, is the mastermind behind the books available in my shops. So today, I thought I'd let him share a little about one of the most popular items that we offer: first edition Oz books!

"One of the reasons I enjoy collecting vintage Oz books is discovering old inscriptions. This book that just arrived is from 1920, one year after Baum passed. It's in delicate condition, and was clearly a Christmas present. The plates are really cool, as they have handwritten inscriptions, instead of text at the bottom of the page."

Come check out the new books we're bringing to Shiplap & Chandeliers in Norwood this week. We're open Thursday thru Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm.

Happy Friday! We spent some time at my Simply Shiplap location last night bringing in some new inventory, as well as mixing things up with some that has just been *hanging around*. Get it?

Sorry.

Anyway, we switched out the amethyst in the test tube chandelier for crystal quartz, and the change is so dramatic!

Come check out the shop located inside Simply Shiplap in Norfolk. Open everyday from 10am-5pm, and begging
