As soon as I saw Becky Halvorsen's dragon block as part of the I KNEW I had to make a Red Dragon for my favorite character: Darius from The Zodiac Academy

I couldn't love it more!

Mistakes.... Everyone makes them. Everyone hates them.

I'm pretty forgiving in what mistakes I'll accept vs ones I won't when sewing up my projects. The motto "done is better than perfect" is what I live by with my projects

How about you? Are you a "leave it" or a "fix it" kind of quilter when it comes to small mistakes?

Love to sew? Here’s another technique to add to your toolbox.

Foundation Paper Piecing lets you create sharp points, unusual angles, tiny pieces, and incredibly detailed designs—without having to precisely cut every little shape first.

And yes, it’s easier than those complicated-looking paper patterns make it seem.

Scar = Favorite Disney Character. And still one of my most favorite blocks I've sewn.... Speaking of.... I think I might have to make some more of him soon

Foundation Paper Pieced, these are doable for a beginner FPP skill level. I have several Tutorials and Videos that walk through my process
