Exciting news from our Dallas studio!

Our designers Mallory Hoffman and Varruna Mitra recently attended Interior Design's 30/30 National Conference in Chicago. As 30/30 honorees, they were among a select group of emerging designers from across the U.S. and Canada invited to the national event.

While there, Varruna won the NEXT Award, and one of the projects from her submission will be featured in Interior Design magazine in Spring 2027!

Mallory and Varruna, we're so proud of you both. We can't wait to see what's next!

Appellation Healdsburg has been named the No. 1 Resort in Northern California and the No. 24 Resort in the World in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards.

From seasonal, locally sourced dishes at Folia to sunset drinks at Andy's Beeline rooftop, Appellation's culinary-forward spirit continues to set it apart, and readers around the world have taken notice.

Elevated hospitality, rooted in nature.

Meet Waybound, an upscale cabin lodging brand for discerning travelers, designed to reconnect guests with the outdoors, with themselves, and with each other. It offers a place to slow down, where refined yet relaxed luxury makes time in nature feel effortless.

Its debut property, Waybound Yosemite, sits among towering pines just outside the national park. The design pairs quality with simplicity, from The Commons, a central gathering place, to The Havens, cabins of quiet sophistication where warm, natural textures, crafted finishes, and well-chosen amenities blend naturally with their surroundings. Thoughtful touches add personality, from custom mailboxes for delivered souvenirs and itineraries to curated wellness kits and portable cocktail chests made for an evening drink under the pines.

From the brand identity to the smallest interior detail, every touchpoint was considered. This is where the Waybound story begins.

Two very different hotels in Sonoma County. The same Michelin distinction.

Montage Healdsburg and The Stavrand have each been awarded Two Michelin Keys in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide.

Montage Healdsburg is a luxury resort set across 258 acres of vineyards, with striking design and refined comfort that immerse guests in the surrounding landscape. The Stavrand is an independent boutique retreat tucked into the Guerneville redwoods, where historic charm meets a warm, contemporary spirit.

It's been a pleasure to be part of both: two unique expressions of hospitality in the same stretch of w**e country, and a reminder that thoughtful, intuitive service can happen at any size.

Exciting news from our Dallas studio!

Earlier this year, our designers Mallory Hoffman and Varruna Mitra were named to Interior Design magazine's 30/30 program, which honors rising designers under 30 who are making their mark on the industry. They've since earned an invitation to the 30/30 National Conference in Chicago.

Only a select group of emerging commercial interior designers from the U.S. and Canada receive an invitation to the national conference. Over three days, they'll build new skills, meet leaders from across the industry, and get an inside look at some of the top brands in design. The conference also gives them the chance to apply for Interior Design's NEXT Awards, which will be presented live at the event.

Mallory and Varruna bring creativity, passion, and dedication to everything they do, and it's amazing to see the industry recognize it too. We couldn't be prouder!

Big news: Folia has just been named one of Travel + Leisure's 25 Best Hotel Restaurants in the World for 2026!

Folia brings together the ingredients, seasons, and spirit of Sonoma in a dining experience that celebrates everything that makes the region so special. A live-fire kitchen anchors the room, and the menu follows Sonoma County's seasons. This is what happens when a space and a menu are shaped by the same idea.

As a hospitality experience, Appellation Healdsburg is built on that culinary relationship to place, and it's exciting to see the team recognized for their passion and commitment. A standout moment in Folia's very first year.

We're thrilled to share that Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, where our team designed the public areas as part of its multimillion-dollar renovation, has just been named to National Geographic’s list of the 20 Best New Hotels in the World for 2026.

Summer just got more colorful.

Flora Loca has officially opened in Oxnard and we could not be more excited. EDG handled both the interiors and branding for this bright, vibrant rooftop cantina. Bold colors, playful energy, and a mural that stops you in your tracks.

As part of our design deep-dive for we stepped away from our desks and devices and walked into the timeless beauty of the resort’s setting in the stunning Boyton Canyon. We slowed down to soak in colors, the flora and fauna, and the magnetic energy of this special place.   That sense of timelessness became a key source of inspiration, and perhaps part of what led to Mii amo’s most recent recognition with 2025 Best of Best Award, honoring the most influential design work of the past 20 years.

It was a privilege to work on the refresh of this much-loved destination, and we’re so pleased that it continues to be a favorite destination, and design leader, to so many. Congrats to our partners on this project, .   And a big congratulations to all the other entrants and winners of this year’s Best of Year Awards. We’re proud to be part of such an inspiring design community.
