Busy Saturdays are our favorite kind. ✔️

Riding lessons, baseball, yard work, and everything in between. By the end of the day, dinner was on the grill, ice cream was in hand, and we were surrounded by what felt like everyone we know from our little town.

The days are long, the schedule is packed, and we’re exhausted but these are the moments we’ll remember. 🍦🥩⚾🐴

Memorial Day is not about sales, cookouts, or a long weekend. There is nothing “happy” about a day meant to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Today we remember their sacrifice, honor their service, and hold space for the families who continue to carry that loss every day. May we never forget the true meaning behind this day. ❤️🤍💙

In a large bowl combine 1 block of cream cheese and 1 cup of sour cream. Reduce amount of cream cheese for a thinner dip. Add one packet of dry ranch mix, 1 cup of crumbled bacon and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Lastly add 1 diced jalapeño (adjust to your liking) and 1 bunch of sliced green onions or chives. Mix well and chill until ready to serve. Serve with you favorite potato chips or Enjoy! ⁣

A meal that is sure to impress and beyond easy. “Tomato pasta” as we call it ( how original, right?) is hands down one of our favorite meals around here. Sometimes we add a protein but mostly just serve it with a salad and call it a day. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

The best BBQ ribs!
4 lbs pork ribs
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon hickory smoke salt or salt and liquid smoke
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce (mine is Sweet Baby Ray)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees f.
Peel off tough membrane that covers the bony side of the ribs.
Mix together the sugar and spices to make the rub
Apply rub to ribs on all sides.
Lay ribs on two layers of foil, shiny side out and meaty side down Lay two layers of foil on top of ribs and roll and crimp edges tightl facing up to seal.
Place on baking sheet and bake for 2-2 1/2 hours or until meat is shrink away from the ends of the bone.
Remove from oven.
Place on grill and add bbq sauce to both sides cook to preference.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
