During the ice storm, it was very humbling to see how so many people in the community came together to help each other out. From that came the idea of the “Mau Mau Project.” This project donates a portion of the proceeds to a local church or organization that helps out our communities. The original cutting came from a houseplant of one of my friend’s grandmother. Our Southern grandmothers are like none other-they share, love, support, work so hard and all of this is done preferably without any attention to them. It will be completely made up of cuttings I receive from moms and grandmothers. So, it will take a while to expand. 😁
