A very special, heart felt thanks to Dr. McDonald and the staff of Melton Veterinary Hospital for taking such good care of my farm cat, Linda. I certainly was not looking to get a pet, but God knew I needed a little extra company at the farm and sent me Linda out of the blue early this spring. She was a faithful little companion and was just happy to hang out. She will be missed💕

Trying to keep the “babies” happy in this awful heat. They’ve been moved from the cooler to the outside briefly in the mornings, but looks like they are going to have to just hang out in the cooler under the grow lights for a while longer. Considering some of these are plants that can survive temps down to -10 they are not happy with 100.🥵 (And I have to agree with them.)

Now is the time to start planning a cutting garden for beautiful fall flowers. Join me on Saturday, July 18 at Delta Grounds. The workshop will include information on soil preparation, seed propagation, plant maintenance and how to cut your flowers to prolong blooming as well as the seeds needed to get started.
