it's been almost two years since I have posted anything, and over two years since i closed my shop.....I miss the community that was built at the shop, but i have to tell you I ma enjoying traveling, but one thing I really miss is GOOD YARN!, well it looks like there is exciting news in Jamestown! Out of Hand has opened on Main St in Jamestown!!!! Please support this local yarn shop!!!!!

This is the Lemon cake that everyone loved last week at Knit Knite! Thank you Melinda!!!
LEMON CAKE

1 box yellow cake mix
1 small pkg. lemon instant pudding mix
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup water
5 eggs
1/2 teaspoon lemon flavoring

Mix all ingredients & place in a greased & floured bundt pan.
bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.

Glaze:
Juice of 3 lemons
1 cup powdered sugar

Mix together and put on hot cake right out of the oven.
Poke holes in cake with an ice pick or skewer before putting glaze on cake in pan.
Let cool & remove from pan.

Enjoy!

Have you checked your email?... due to the overwhelming response to our sale, we feel there is not enough inventory to support us staying open through September as planned, so next week will be our last week. We will be open Tuesday August 20th-Saturday August 24th from 12-5. All remaining inventory, needles, models, and furnishings will be 50% off.
