Want to keep your carpet looking great for years to come? 👀

Taking care of your carpet doesn’t have to be complicated. Here are three simple things that can make a big difference:

🧹 Vacuum Regularly
Regular vacuuming helps remove dirt and grit before it gets worked deep into the carpet fibers, where it can be much harder to remove.

💧 Blot Spills Quickly
Spills happen! The key is to act quickly and blot instead of rubbing. Scrubbing can work the spill deeper into the carpet and damage the fibers.

🧼 Use the Right Carpet Cleaners
Even stain-resistant carpet needs proper care. Using cleaners recommended for your specific carpet can help keep it looking its best without damaging the fibers.

Save this post for the next time you need a carpet care reminder! 👇

And when it’s time for new carpet, stop by The Floor Store and let us help you find the right fit for your home.

We couldn’t agree more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’re blessed to have such great installers on our team. They work hard, take pride in what they do, and do a great job taking care of our customers and their homes.

It’s always nice to hear when a customer notices the hard work that goes into a project.

Thank you to our installers for all that you do, and thank you to our customers for the kind words!

Walking into a flooring showroom can feel overwhelming. There are a LOT of choices. 👀

The good news? You don’t have to know exactly what you want before you walk through our doors.

Our job is to help you narrow down the options, compare products, and find something that fits your home, your lifestyle, and your budget.

The graphic below from Southwind is a great starting point when you’re beginning the flooring process.

And while these tips come from the Southwind approach, they apply to all the flooring options we offer at The Floor Store.

Save this for your next flooring project and stop by to let us help you find the right fit.

It means even more when customers come back to us. ❤️

This was a returning customer who unfortunately experienced water damage in their basement and needed to replace their flooring.

We’re incredibly grateful they trusted The Floor Store again to help get their basement looking great.

And then they took the time to leave us a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review.

We truly appreciate the kind words and the continued trust from customers like these. It’s why we love what we do.

Thank you for choosing The Floor Store!

A fresh new look just in time for a new school year 👀

We recently completed a flooring project for Garrett Christian Academy, installing Shaw Mask Carpet Tile throughout their space.

Carpet tile is a great option for schools and high-traffic areas because it provides durability, easy maintenance, and the flexibility to replace individual tiles if needed in the future.

We’re excited that this project was completed just in time for their Open House and Fish Fry on August 1st from 4–8 PM!

Be sure to stop by on August 1st, check out their updated space, and show your support for Garrett Christian Academy!

At The Floor Store, we’re proud to be part of projects that help create better spaces for our local community.

WPC vs. SPC — What’s the Difference? 👀

When choosing Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), one of the biggest decisions is the core. Both WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) and SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) offer excellent performance—but each has its own strengths.

What They Have in Common
✔ 100% waterproof — perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.
✔ Durable and scratch-resistant — built for everyday life.
✔ Available in a wide variety of styles and wood looks.

What Sets Them Apart

WPC Core
• Thicker and softer underfoot for added comfort.
• Better at absorbing minor subfloor imperfections.
• A great choice when comfort is a priority.

SPC Core
• Thinner, denser, and more impact-resistant.
• Excellent for high-traffic areas.
• More dimensionally stable, making it a great option for rooms with large windows or seasonal temperature changes.

There isn't a one-size-fits-all answer—just the right floor for your home and lifestyle.

Stop by The Floor Store and we will help you choose the LVT that's right for your project.

Basements deserve great floors too 👀

For this project, we installed COREtec® Irene Walnut throughout a basement living room and game room, creating a warm, inviting space built for relaxing and entertaining.

The rich wood look pairs perfectly with the durability of luxury vinyl, making it a great choice for everyday living.

Take a look at the photos below to see how it all came together 👇
