**Pizza Chips – A Crispy, Cheesy Snack**
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of plain potato chips (preferably thick-cut)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup mini pepperoni slices
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
2. Spread the potato chips out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Try not to overlap the chips too much so that each chip can get crispy and covered in toppings.
3. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the potato chips. Make sure each chip gets some cheesy love.
4. Distribute the mini pepperoni slices over the chips, placing them so that each chip has a piece or two of pepperoni.
5. In a small bowl, mix together the Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Sprinkle this evenly over the chips to give them that signature pizza flavor.
6. Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven, and bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
7. Once done, remove the baking sheet from the oven. Allow the pizza chips to cool for a minute or two; they will crisp up further as they cool.
8. Serve the pizza chips warm with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
