🐑 New class! Ever wonder how yarn gets made? Here’s your opportunity to learn how it happens! Join our very own knitting teacher and shepherdess, Jodi Horgan, for the hands-on presentation “Sheep to Skein.” Jodi will walk us through the process from shearing to finished yarn. Students will get their hands on wool at the various stages of the process and see the types of equipment involved in the making of yarn. Participants will also get to try hand spinning. We will learn the difference between worsted and woolen spun yarn and how that affects your project. Students will also learn that there’s a whole world full of sheep besides Merino. After the presentation, participants will do a needle felting project decorating wool dryer balls! Skill level: All levels!
