This amazing house has been a joy to work in and we are super excited to see one of the new Sherwin Williams Emerald Designer Edition colors come to life on these custom cabinets! (SW9605-Clove) Walking in for the first time, we weren’t sure how we’d advise making that stone wall work- but we embraced it and it’s become the inspiration point for the vibe and vision of this awesome young family’s home! It’s coming together as our clients “work the list” we helped them build!! 🏡

L👀K at this amazing transformation!!😍😍 This client is not afraid of color! We settled on the sophisticated Benjamin Moore Hale Navy paint, had the bar painted by our trusted partner H-Way Designs (), then finished with gorgeous mirrored tile, a new countertop and gold fixtures! 🌟 What a way to ring in the new year!!🥂🍾

Valley Forge Interiors welcomed the talented Anne Schmitt Florals for our second annual holiday wreath workshop last evening! We loved watching the creativity flow during this special “I can make that Monday” event!! Everyone started out wondering how they would ever make a beautiful wreath out of cuttings and grapevine, but under Anne’s expert direction, each one turned out beautifully! Thanks to all who participated - and to the amazing Anne Schmitt!🎄🎄

I’m totally Mad For Plaid this time of year!!🎄We kicked off the holidays this weekend with a small dinner party, and it couldn’t have been more fun to decorate with the season’s best pattern! The table was set with greenery from my garden and decorations borrowed from other areas of the house and a friend’s gold serving ware. I added in little place card ornaments made on my cutting machine and asked our guests to dress in their finest tartan! It was a perfect night of laughs and fun! 🎄🎄🎅🏻🎅🏻
HOWEVER- starting today, my social media presence will focus on “keepin’ it real”- and the last pic is one of my office armoire where I shoved a bunch of stuff to keep it out of sight, I was still making the charcuterie tray 5 minutes before the first guests arrived and my sweet dog ate a giant piece of cheese that fell on the floor in my rush. Everyone curates perfection on social media, but behind all the filtered photos is IMPERFECTION- and that, my friends, is what makes life PERFECT!😊

“I Can Make That Monday” - Advent Calendar Edition. 🎁🎄 One of our holiday traditions is an Advent calendar with a small treat for each day as we count down to Christmas! I like coming up with a different one every year to match my holiday decor, but since the boys are in college and won’t be home until mid-December, I had to improvise and come up with something quick, easy and not too embarrassing 😉. It’s not super pretty this year, but it’s functional and filled with fun (ideas for inside the envelopes: scratch-offs, cash, food gift cards, gum, candy, etc!) Setting up for Thanksgiving 🦃 and feeling all the feels! I love pulling out the pieces that have been handed down for generations, and adding in a little whimsy to make it fun! The turkey platter has served over 40 years of turkeys, the gravy boat is vintage 70s and my grandmother’s silver has been religiously counted after every meal to make sure none of the pieces are lost. The little pilgrims are an “I can make that Monday” special- some clip art, family photos, tape and a laminator are all you need to whip up these cuties!🦃🦃 We’d love to hear about your traditions!!
