I have always loved the beach and the ocean and in the past few years I took up surfing. On my long days at the beach, I began to start collecting unique pieces of driftwood. As time went on, I started to make simple items for friends and family as gifts. I am a lawyer that has always looked for a creative outlet. As I started to get more requests from friends an family,

I started to make more intricate pieces. I love coming home from a long day at the office and winding down with my driftwood and creating these items. Each item I make, takes me back to salty days of summer, beach, my surfboard. "Not All Those That Wander are Lost" -J. Tolkien

Addy's heart became one with mine 3 years ago today. It never gets easier but life presses on. The other week I went on to for the first time in over 3 years to set up an account for Rosie. I had never been able to bring myself to memorialize Addy's account and I finally did that day. It rocked me to the core, one of those messy bows that was never tied up. A few days later flowers arrived from Chewy honoring Addy. I guess it was what I needed to prepare for this 3 year anniversary, Addy was preparing me for today. She's always preparing, help and teaching me, especially when it comes to Rosie and her puppy ways

I see you everywhere, Addy. Even in South Africa a few weeks ago, you showed up - a white butterfly on the prettiest plant.

Miss you my baby girl, with all my heart.
