DU will be here Thursday-Sunday with their gun raffles, vendors and tournament apparel tents.

I will have a tent Sunday at this fishing tournament at Bahia Marina (Fishtales). If you’ve wanted to see my art in person, I will have a few of my sea creatures with me along with paintings, prints and stationery. The tournament is June 5-7 but I will only be there Sunday.

This is exactly what my intention was when I painted Sister Hildie after she went to be with God. She was a very special soul who made an impact on so many women who passed through the Institute of Notre Dame. My intent was to capture her in such a way that it would bring peace to us all after the abrupt and unfortunate circumstances surrounding the closing of our beloved I.N.D.
An FYI to the ignorant few who accused me of using Sister Hildie’s likeness for financial gain, I have never profited from this image. Digitizing and producing prints is expensive. The cost of the print pays for just that. I donated the original painting and furthermore, offered to sell my IND crabs and prints in Hildie’s Boutique. Shame on you.
