I use to be an English teacher....anytime I assigned a writing assignment, the parents 😉 or students, would use chatgpt or one of many essay programs to do the assignment for them.....it's why many teachers are requiring the assignment to be done on a typewriter again.

Back in the day, all assignments were done on typewriters....and children were given toy typewriters, like this one, to get an early education on typing. It was quite common for kids to play school and have one of these. This example is like brand new and is in its original box. Pretty sweet!!!!!!! Dated 1950's

For those of you not in the know....I post antiques and handmade art pieces almost everyday. The gas/oil signs are gone....other things come in.

These are never found in this part of the country....but on occasion these crates found their way South. I have found Barq's crates stamped Cincinnati and Maryland before. Wasn't expecting to see these on my last pickin trip.

Didn't bring in vinyl today.....but did bring in a big collection of cassette tapes. Been sitting in a dark closet for years. Many different artists and genres. Tapes are always 5 bucks each...2 if it is not 100% complete. Pretty cool Bob Dylan set too.
