Today, We made a trip to Oak Grove Animal Clinic to drop off our dog ornament donation. It was a total of $225 from the community. Back in November, our dog Bailey was hit by a truck and had a head injury. OG Animal Clinic did not hesitate to get our girl in to be seen. (Our regular vet was not able to see her) It wasn't a pretty site and we thought we were going to have to put her down. Doc Messner and staff were ready to help us. With that being said, I promised to donate $5 out of each dog ornament sale to the clinic. It's to help those that need a little help with their payment if in need. If you own a pet, you know there are times that they might need surgery or immunizations and you don't have the funds. This isn't a lot but every little bit helps. We provided a check donation of $125 with anonymous $100 money donation. Oh, and lots of tongue licks and wags from Bailey.
Thank you to all those that reached out to me (Oak-OdeDesigns) and gave this small business a chance.

Sooo, I am already starting on Christmas ornaments and such for 2024. Definitely keeping me busy!
I started a new pet collection and will be adding to it thruout next year called 'Love Me Wags'. I have no clue where that came from except I was driving and I couldn't get the words out of my head. Many of these ornaments can be hung from the rear view mirror. Also,I can make it as a magnet. Perfect little gift for your favorite dog lover. PS, cats are coming soon....
I will be adding to this post for there's more...and I will be getting my Etsy shop up and running. I have been putting that off for too long.
Most ornaments are $10-15. The customized dog memorial is 3 layers and is $23.00.

My latest project: customized genuine leather keychains.
I will be posting on my business page if anyone is interested.
$10 each.
Rawhide is from a south Texas ranch. No two are alike. The hardware is stainless steel (mine does have antique copper but I will be changing it out when my next supply comes in).
Leather strap is about 3.5 inches long and about 0.50-0.75 inches in width.

P.S. Father's day is next month...perfect gift from the kids for Dad or Grandpa.
