We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
We remember the families whose lives were forever changed.
We remember the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.

And we remember what followed — a generation of Americans who answered the call to serve.

As a former United States Marine, September 11th carries a meaning that is difficult to put into words. It is a reminder of sacrifice, service, courage, and the responsibility we have to never forget those who gave everything for our country.
