That’s up to $650 in free flooring. Entries must be dropped in our giveaway box at the show by 4pm May 21, 2023 so you need to move fast. Do you or someone you know need a room of carpet? The winner will receive up to $650 in free carpet, cushion and labor. That’s enough to cover up to a 12’ x 15’ room (20 sq. yards). Here are the rules. Wall to wall carpet first came on the scene in the 1930’s, but didn’t become readily available to most Americans until the 1950’s due to the high cost. With the new invention of synthetic fibers and the move of production to the south, Dalton, Georgia to be specific, carpet began to be affordable for nearly everyone. Prior to this Dalton had been the home of bedding production and was primed to mass produce a new textile. It’s that time of year when snow starts melting and causing ice dams which eventually may enter the home destroying walls, baseboards, flooring and more. Keep those gutters clear and watch for evidence of water entering the home so you can take care of it right away. If carpet gets wet, the pad needs removed and disposed of right away, but often the carpet can be dried out and reinstalled. We’d be happy to come take a look. 801-814-0457
