Materials:
Any basic thrifted glass vase, baking soda, matte earth-tone acrylic paint, stiff bristle brush.
Steps:
Wash the vase thoroughly with warm, soapy water to remove oils and dust.
Mix the acrylic paint with baking soda until it forms a thick, frosting-like paste.
Brush the mix onto the vase using overlapping, heavy strokes to build maximum texture.
Allow it to set in a well-ventilated space until it hardens into a solid, matte, stone-like shell.
Time: 40 minutes + drying time
