What is Lakardia, and how do you pronounce it?

Hi everyone. My name is Kate, and all my life I’ve been a creative, trying to improve my surroundings and make them prettier. My grandma encouraged me for many years to get serious about my talents. She thought I should be sharing more of what I do publicly. She actually wanted me to open a gift shop - someday! Until then, here I am online. Bringing as many projects to life as I can and sharing all the patterns, tutorials, colors, fabrics, tips, etc. I work under the name Lakardia (Luh-car-dee-uh), which, is that same grandma’s name, and, a name she and I agreed would be perfect for me to use! She passed away a few years ago, and seriously, I wish so bad I could show her the stuff I’ve been making. Working under her name helps me to still feel connected, though. Uploading text and images has allowed me a chance to review and see how my skills have grown over time. I’m excited to how things progress. I really appreciate you taking the time to peek in and take notice. Thank you.
