Celebrating 25 Years of Buckley Stone!
Dear Friends, Family, and Customers,
As Buckley Stone celebrates 25 years in business, our hearts are full of gratitude.
This milestone is more than just a number to us—it’s a reflection of where we started, how far we’ve come, and the incredible people who have supported us along the way.
We opened Buckley Stone in September 2001 alongside our family’s equipment company, Buckley’s Great Plains Equipment Company. Our dad, Lawrence Buckley, poured everything he had into building a business surrounded by his children—Cydnee, Jennifer, Michael, and Andrea.
Then, on May 9, 2003, everything changed.
A tornado struck and nearly wiped us out. Our building and equipment were gone—but not everything was lost. The stone remained.
In a way, Mother Nature left behind a reminder of what we were meant to do. So we rebuilt, refocused, and committed ourselves fully to sharing the natural beauty of stone with others.
Over the past 25 years, we’ve built this business on hard work, dedication, and a promise to provide quality materials with honest, dependable service.
In October of 2021, we experienced another life-changing loss. Our dad—our owner, our leader, our grandparent, and truly the rock of this company—passed away suddenly.
He was the one who ran everything, and his absence left us not only heartbroken, but with so much to learn and carry forward.
The past few years have challenged us in ways we never expected—emotionally and mentally—as we stepped into roles we weren’t fully prepared for at the time.
But through it all, we kept going.
Today, we are more focused than ever on serving our customers with the same values he built this company on. We are incredibly grateful for the patience, grace, and support so many of you have shown us during that time.
To every contractor, homeowner, builder, landscaper, and DIY dreamer who has walked through our doors—you are part of our story. Every project, every visit, and every handshake has meant more to us than you know.
We are proud of the legacy we’ve built—not just in stone, but in relationships, trust, and community.
To those who have supported us over the years: thank you. Your loyalty, referrals, and belief in us have made all of this possible.
