Using Rubio Monocoat to finish this quarter sawn oak project, a lot of work, but the finish looks great.

The tile is in, countertops are installed and protected, and we’ve started the Rubio finish on this quarter-sawn white oak cabinetry—bringing out the depth and character in every piece.

Next up: finishing out the drawers, dialing in the final carpentry details, and completing the doors in the shop before install.

This is where the project really starts to come together.

Custom Quarter Sawn Oak Kitchen: The build is taking shape! The electricians and plumbers are finished with the rough in, now cabinetry gets to be installed!

Kitchen transformation: We updated this kitchen with a fresh look, all new doors and drawers and full repaint. We added a black herringbone backsplash to have a seamless look.
