🌿🍄 Found something wild today! 🍄🌿

Hey friends, it’s your Bad Daddy Jay back with another adventure! Spotted this funky little guy in the yard—looks like a Shaggy Mane mushroom (aka Lawyer’s Wig). It’s one of nature’s coolest creations, and believe it or not, it’s edible when fresh!

Shaggy Manes are like a little piece of magic—starting white and shaggy, then turning into black ink as they age. They pop up in places you least expect, especially here in Oklahoma’s Zone 7B.

Thinking about cooking one up? Make sure you really know what you’re picking—mushroom hunting is not for the faint of heart (or the inexperienced). Always double-check your finds with an expert!

This is a drink recipe that I let die with me when I left a bar I worked at. But I don’t do this anymore so I might as well share my secret. Start with a glass of ice. Add a small jigger of vodka, triple sec, Malibu rum, and Amaretto. Then mix to the top with cranberry and orange juice. Top with a smidge of grenadine. This was a drink I was known for.
