JRK Studios Hello there, I’m James. I mainly work with stained glass but I also have many other forms of art. I have been working with glass since about 1993.

One day while shopping with my mother at an antique store I came across old stained glass windows. I was so drawn in that the following week I acquired some supplies and taught myself basic glass work. After making several small items for friends and family, I obtained a part-time position working in a local stained glass shop and gained even more knowledge. I mainly work with stained glass but I

also have many other forms of artistic expression. I also like to sew making my own clothes or small items made of fabric. Then there is woodworking, that’s so I could make frames for the window panels. But, turns out that it comes in handy for home repairs. I have also worked with wire, making jewelry and a few small wire baskets. I also enjoy working in my food garden and canning all I can harvest. Then there is my 1971 Chevy truck called the “Blue Jay”. It’s a never ending project for sure. I just like to create in hopes it inspires others to create. Needing to sell my supplies stash. Lots of 12”x12” sheets of spectrum and some larger sheets of random makers. I haven’t inventoried it yet so I don’t know how much is here but will get started digging and cataloging.

Got the wood frame made a couple days ago. Put a coat of stain on yesterday and should get a finish coat on today.
